In this interactive class, we will learn the practices of Ayurveda to unwind and recharge.
Ayurveda is the world’s oldest holistic healing system and is considered Yoga’s “sister science.” Modern science now recognizes the incredible efficacy of Ayurvedic practices in healing disease and imbalances of the modern world.
This class will be informational and experiential. Together we will go step-by-step through a typical Ayurvedic nighttime ritual (dinacharya). We will drink golden milk, learn how to tongue scrape, oil massage, oil pull, talk about what to eat for dinner and more!
We'll also explore the nature of this life-transforming tradition, and discover how the principles of Ayurveda teach us to awaken our natural ability to live in ease, giving us greater access to higher levels of engagement in our relationships, our work, our purpose and our health.
In Ayurveda it is believed that maintaining consistent daily routines, is the springboard to optimal energy, health and self-healing.
Each participant will leave with a tongue scraper, massage oil, ayurvedic recipes and worksheets to re-create your new nighttime routine at home.
Come ready for bed (showered and in jammies if you like!) and prepare to experience one of the best nights sleep you've ever had!
