Finding Your Voice for Yoga Teachers and Trainees

One of the most unexpected challenges when teaching yoga is finding your voice! Talking for extended periods of time and finding just the right words can be challenging. When teaching we are using our voice the entire time while also constantly moving. Wether you are teaching one class per week or 10, you want to be projecting, cueing and guiding with confidence!

As teachers, we focus so much on learning to use our bodies in a way that is safe but when we begin teaching we often forget to do the same for our voice. By connecting to the physical and energetic space of the throat and throat chakra, and incorporating pranayama techniques, you will learn how to support your vocal cords, and find your voice safely and effectively.

Rachel has a background in theater, performance, stage direction and now teaches yoga full time. You will learn to use your voice in a physically safe way while also finding a confident, strong presence that can be used in when teaching or transferred into everyday life. Come find your voice with us!

Rachel is a YACEP provider. Yoga Teachers receive 2 hours of CE credits.
