Joy of Yoga is dedicated to helping you support your yoga practice. As part of our growing community we are now offering Childcare on Sunday Mornings. Your kids, ages 2-12, are welcome to join Ruby Truong in various activities and crafts. Each week she will create a new project for your family while you enjoy the peacefulness of your yoga practice. This service will be held in the lower level of Joy of Yoga, please enter in Studio B.

Cost: $6 per child, per session.

About Ruby Truong:

Ruby Truong is currently a teaching artist at Perennial, an event and education coordinator at Food Roof Farm, and art staff at Magic House and Joy of Yoga. At work, she is creating and developing an Eco-friendly education program for kids including the activities about sustainable gardening, fresh cooking, yoga, veggie art, and recycling craft. Her fun and hand-on project is designed to motivate kids to develop critical thinking skills, build global awareness, and engage in positive solution for a sustainable future.

In her spare time, Ruby loves to volunteer for events and developing programs. Ruby is also passionate about yoga, dancing, sewing, and crafts.

Ruby’s favorite Vietnamese monk, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, teachers her about mindfulness, and how to stay happy in every moment. Her favorite quote by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hahn, “Everyone is a lotus of the Earth. We have to walk in a way that we only print peace and serenity on the Earth. Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet,” keeps her going in her busy schedule.
