Allison Satkowski

Allison began her yoga journey at 16, in 2011 and started teaching in 2015. She is 200hr certified in the Kripalu yoga tradition. Her classes are designed to invite students to focus inward, connect with their body, tune into subtle sensations, and trust their innate intuition through conscience movement, pranayama, sound, and meditation, Allison offers students the opportunity to find presence in each unfolding moment. Allison is also a Reiki Master Practitioner and a trained Sound Healer / Sonic Massage Practitioner available for individual treatments.

 
 

About the classes

Kripalu Yoga is a style of Hatha Yoga with a compassionate approach. It combines breathwork and postures to align and awaken the energy within the body, balance the mind and access deeper states of awareness. All levels welcome.

This class presents a space to let go of the complexities and stressors of our daily lives and reconnect with our body and our natural way of being.  Gentle movement and stretching, blended with deep breathing and restorative postures will be offered with modifications to support and suit each individual. Expect a slower pace and an extended savasana.  All levels welcome.
