Myofascial & Yin: Deep Release with Massage Therapy Balls

to Jan 28

Myofascial & Yin: Deep Release with Massage Therapy Balls

This floor-based class weaves myofascial release with yin-inspired stillness, using soft, grippy therapy balls and long-held, supported stretches to reset your body and calm your mind.

We’ll roll, press, and pause through key areas of tension—melting tightness in the hips, shoulders, and back—while exploring how mindful pressure and intentional stillness help the nervous system downshift into ease.

The therapy balls awaken subtle body awareness and unravel hidden layers of tension; the yin postures offer spacious, supported opening. Together, they create room not just in your muscles, but in how you move, breathe, and feel.

Ideal for:

  • Desk workers and athletes

  • Anyone seeking pain relief, mobility, or stress reduction

  • Those craving a midweek reset—no experience or flexibility required

Experience the restorative crossroads of massage, movement, and mindfulness.

Mandala: Sacred Art as Meditation
Dec

12:00 PM12:00

Mandala: Sacred Art as Meditation

Step into a 2.5-hour creative immersion where art becomes meditation and symmetry becomes prayer. We’ll begin with a gentle exploration of mandalas through time and culture — from Native American sand paintings to Celtic knots, Tibetan thangkas, and Islamic geometric art — discovering how these sacred circles have reflected the universal patterns of wholeness for centuries.

After a grounding meditation, you’ll be guided to create your own personal mandalas using a variety of media and sizes. All supplies are provided — just bring your curiosity and an open heart. As your hands move, your mind softens; what begins as pattern-making unfolds into a deeply centering experience of presence and flow.

We’ll close with time for quiet reflection and a sharing circle to integrate insights and inspirations.
No artistic experience is needed — just the willingness to explore the sacred geometry within and around you.

Spinal Stretch: Good Morning Slow Flow

Spinal Stretch: Good Morning Slow Flow

Our bodies often respond to the winter chill with achy joints, stiff shoulders, and hunched posture that leaves us feeling depleted and tired. Gently energize the body with elongated, spiraling spinal stretches!

Over seven weeks, we'll move the spine along seven planes of direction and discover how stretching from the spine outward can benefit the distal limbs, the breath, fascia, balance, and even mental clarity.

During this season, our central channel (home to energy centers, vital organs, and brain-body nerve connections) requires even more TLC for flexibility, suppleness, and strength. Give back to your back with this gentle but invigorating practice!

Winter Solstice Sound Journey

Slow Down, Reconnect, and Renew This Winter

Discover a fresh perspective on the season with a deeply restorative yoga practice, soothing guided meditation, and the healing vibrations of singing bowls.

If "celebrate" and "winter" don’t naturally align in your mind, this session is crafted just for you. And if you already cherish this time of year, you’ll leave with even more reasons to appreciate it. Amidst the busyness of the holidays, taking time for yourself can be the most productive and nourishing thing you do.

The Winter Solstice, marking the shortest day of the year, reminds us of the turning toward the light as daylight begins to grow. This sacred time invites us to celebrate the presence of Spirit and lean into faith and hope for the future, trusting that our visions will come to life.

With the sun’s transition into Capricorn, we are supported by feminine, grounded, and fruitful energy. This is a season of structure, discipline, and intentionality—a perfect backdrop for energizing new dreams and creating plans to bring them to fruition. As we embrace this cosmic energy, we find a container of discernment and stability to guide our next steps.

Join us to pause, realign, and renew as we honor the transformative power of the Winter Solstice.

Vocal Training for Instructors

Calling all yoga teachers, school teachers, fitness instructors, public speakers, and sales professionals!

Do you ever find yourself straining to be heard? Maybe your voice feels tired after a long week of teaching, or you struggle to project with confidence. If you’ve ever wished your voice could carry with more ease, resonance, and presence — this workshop is for you.

Rachel Roberts, theatrically trained at The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, has been a full-time yoga teacher for 10 years. Her classical vocal training became an invaluable foundation for the countless hours of speaking required in her teaching career. Over the years, she’s noticed how little vocal support exists for professionals outside of the theater — even though so many of us rely on our voices every day.

In this workshop, you’ll explore simple, effective breathing practices and vocal tools you can use immediately — whether you’re teaching a class, giving a presentation, leading a meeting, or speaking in your everyday life.

Reiki L1 Training (Level 1)

to Feb 15

Reiki L1 Training (Level 1)

This training is open to anyone and is one of the most thorough and comrehensive available. Because the course is spread out over multiple weeks, this allows appropriate time to learn, practice, and integrate the Reiki energy.

Students receive many hours of hands-on experience. And, at the end of this training, practitioners feel confident in their ability to use Reiki energy to heal themselves and others.

In this training, we emphasize spiritual growth and Reiki healing as a life-long pursuit, and provide many additional handouts, websites, organizations, and other resources for Reiki students to access along the way and after the training.

Reiki is a powerful healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is based on the knowledge that "life force energy" flows through us and keeps us balanced, alive and well.

When we're not feeling well, it can be caused by blockages in our flow of energy that becomes stagnant causing us to feel stuck, overly emotional or stressed. Reiki works to clear and balance the energies of the body, bringing about profound physical, emotional, and spiritual changes in a person.

During this course we will learn:

  • The background and history of Reiki

  • Energy Healing concepts

  • Techniques to Ground Energy

  • How Reiki Works (including specific scientific studies)

  • How to use Reiki to heal oneself

  • How to use Reiki to heal others (including animals)

  • How to Clear and Protect Your Energy

  • How to Imbue Sacred Objects with Reiki

Upon completing this training, you will have receive your Reiki I Attunement in Traditional Usui Reiki First Degree, and a certificate as a Traditional Usui First Degree Practitioner.

Blanket Fort Yoga: Mini Retreat and Playshop

Blanket Fort Yoga: Mini Retreat and Playshop

Creating sanctuary is an art essential to childhood. We are born connoisseurs of comfort, carving out private spaces for ourselves to dream, grow, and relax. This energy is brought to life in treehouses, blanket forts, and our own vast imaginations. While navigating the long and winding road to adulthood, we fall out of the practice of cultivating sacred and nourishing spaces just for ourselves. This playshop and mini retreat is a symbolic return to that space of childlike wonder. It is a reestablishment of all things cozy and rejuvenating, and an exploration of deep rest through soft support. This is a space for daydreaming, journaling, community, guided movement, catching your breath, and resting deeply. It is a valuable reminder that we can access that same sanctuary from years ago, land in it to make space in hurried lives, and return again and again to find peace.

The following will be provided and available to all participants:
-blankets, yoga bolsters, sandbags, eye pillows, and mats
-chairs for fort building
-coloring pages, colored pencils and crayons
-guided movement, meditation, pranayama, and relaxation
-unstructured time for reflection, journaling, and rest
-sipping chocolate, tea, and mugs

Snuggle inside your fort, move and wiggle, rest with support, and recommit to cultivating more ease in your life!

To ensure there are enough props for all, space is limited to 6 attendees.

Mala Making: A Sacred Ritual For Crafting Intention
Nov
15
12:00 PM12:00

Mala Making: A Sacred Ritual For Crafting Intention

Creating a sacred mala is a powerful ritual to realign with our intentions, grounding us in mindfulness and inviting spiritual renewal. The word mala originates from Hinduism, meaning "a string of beads or knots used in praying and meditating." In Sanskrit, it translates to "garland," symbolizing a tool to deepen spiritual practice. Malas have a rich history dating back over 3,000 years to ancient India and are deeply connected to grounding and expanding the mind.

Traditionally used in spiritual and mindfulness practices, malas aid focus during meditation. They typically consist of 108 beads, aligning them with other sacred bead traditions, like the Christian rosary. Malas are used to count mantras, prayers, intentions, or breaths and are often part of gratitude meditations. Many also wear them as necklaces, serving as a tangible reminder of mindfulness and practice.

In this class, we’ll delve into the history of malas, reflect on the opportunities of the upcoming spring equinox, design and create our own malas, and conclude with a guided practice on how to use them.

✨ All mala-making materials are included with your registration—no extra cost.
