The Inner Temple Journey
A Monthly Cacao, Breath, Astrology, Group Reiki & Sound Experience
The Inner Temple Journey is a monthly afternoon ceremonial gathering — a sacred pause in the middle of the day to return inward, attune to the wisdom of the cosmos, and restore harmony through ritual, breath, energy, and sound.
Each month, our journey is guided by the astrological sign of the season, offering a collective theme for reflection, embodiment, and healing. The zodiac becomes a living map — illuminating the emotional, energetic, and spiritual invitations present at this point in the lunar and solar cycle, and shaping the intention of our time together.
We begin with a heart-opening cacao ceremony, honoring cacao as a sacred plant ally and gentle teacher. Prepared with intention, ceremonial-grade cacao supports emotional openness, embodied presence, and connection — to yourself and to the shared circle.
From there, we move into the medicine of the breath. Through conscious, rhythmic breathwork, we awaken life force energy, release stored tension, and soften emotional holding. Breath becomes the bridge between body and spirit, guiding you toward clarity, vitality, and inner spaciousness.
During the breathwork journey, we will open the field to receive collective Reiki, offering universal life force energy to the group as a whole. This shared energetic field supports nervous system regulation, balance, and integration as breath gently guides the process.
Our journey concludes with healing sound, including crystal singing bowls, resonant vocal tones, and meditative vibrations. Sound gently integrates the afternoon’s work, helping insights and energetic shifts settle and anchor before you return to the rest of your day.
This gathering is open to all — whether you are new to ceremonial spaces or deeply familiar with energy work. Each month is unique, shaped by the astrology of the season and the energy of those present. You are held with care, respect, and attunement, so you may feel safe, supported, and deeply seen.

Embrace the Magic of Sound and the Fall Equinox
"While it still may feel that summer is in full swing, we are long past the solstice, and the sun’s energy has been waning for weeks. With fewer hours of sunlight, the nights expand, crops begin to wither, and plants descend into dormancy.
Even though we’re never surprised at the power of the cosmos and their effects upon the earth, these moments will always be bittersweet. They are fleeting reminders that nothing in the physical world is stationary. Situations, things, and feelings are not permanent. It’s up to each one of us to seek out, embrace, and find comfort in change—a place where many humans experience resistance."
Magick + Alchemy by Tamed Wild
The Fall Equinox is a time of balance, growth and evolution. As our natural world finds balance between the dark and we light, day and night, we are invited to do the same in our own life. Mother Nature presents to us a time to release old, unsupportive ways of being, and in the process of shedding, we turn inward to reflect, refine and cultivate new fertile ground in which to plant the seeds of our intentions and grow into who we want to be.
Join us for gentle and restorative postures, and the soothing, vibratory healing frequencies of Himalayan and crystal singing bowls. This sound journey into the energy of Fall will leave you feeling grounded, receptive and inspired as we make this next turn on the Wheel of the Year.

Reiki L2 Training (Second Degree)
Take your Reiki practice to the next level with this intermediate training, designed to expand your skills and confidence as a Reiki practitioner.
Through this attunement, your connection to the Reiki current strengthens and becomes more focused. You will be introduced to the sacred symbols, learn how to work with them to amplify Reiki energy, offer protection, and send healing across distance, time, and space.

We will move through guided meditations — including a journey to meet your Reiki Guide — along with hands-on practice and personal support so that your learning feels embodied, not rushed. There is space for questions, integration, and refinement of your intuitive listening.
By the end of this training, you will feel confident working with the Level II symbols for yourself and others. More than new techniques, you will leave with a deeper spiritual steadiness — a greater trust in your ability to channel Reiki with precision, compassion, and integrity.

What Lights You Up
Give yourself the gift of a true reset.
This immersive workshop blends sound healing, Reiki, somatic practices, and reflection to release what feels stagnant or heavy and create space for what you're ready to welcome in.
You’ll reconnect with your body’s wisdom and explore what brings you into deeper alignment with a life that feels authentic, connected, and meaningful. We’ll turn to Okinawa, Japan—one of the world’s Blue Zones, where people are known for remarkable longevity and vitality—and the concept of ikigai, often translated as “a reason for being.” Ikigai invites us to consider the deeper threads that give our lives purpose and meaning: what we love, what we’re good at, how we contribute, and what brings us a sense of joy and belonging.
Guided by Valeri Topel, Reiki Master and sound healing practitioner, and Patty Gaus, certified coach, you'll create space to uncover the clarity, wisdom, and knowing that are already within you.
You'll leave feeling calm and grounded, with a deeper connection to yourself and a felt sense of direction moving forward.
No experience necessary. Just bring an open heart and a willingness to listen inward.

Come Back To Her
A women’s circle for reconnecting with the woman beneath all the doing.
So much of life asks us to be something for someone else—partner, mother, daughter, friend, caregiver, professional, helper, keeper of the details.
Somewhere between loving the people in her life, carrying what needs to be carried, and becoming who everyone needs her to be, a woman can disappear from her own life.
This circle is an invitation to come back to her.
To the woman with her own rhythms.
Her own needs.
Her own knowing.
Not to become a better version of herself.
Not to add one more thing to fix, heal, or perfect.
But to slow down long enough to remember what is already there.
Through ceremony, meditation, journaling, meaningful conversation, gentle somatic movement, and grounding practices, we’ll create space to step out of the noise and return to our true nature.
Come as you are.
Leave a little more grounded, a little more connected, and a little closer to yourself.

Rest as Remembering (Module C)
Guiding rest practices will always be relevant because the nature of the human condition is restlessness. This training is devoted to all those dedicated to teaching the rich discipline of relaxation. 10 hours of study will support a specialized understanding of Restorative yoga’s scriptural, philosophical, and existential roots, the spiritual questions we face when resting, and how the practice can lead us to deeper meaning, greater truth, and marked healing from the inside out. Tending to the considerations of seasoned instructors, this weekend explores best practices, expands the dimensions of our reservoir of service, and connects us to Rest’s divine influence in our lives beyond the mat. Vibrant Living: Music, Rhythm & Movement
Open to a sense of joy through singing dancing, enjoying the simple pleasure of music and movement. Maybe you used to love dancing at concerts or in the club. Maybe your favorite part of church was singing with everyone around you. Or maybe you just miss having a space where you can let go a little.
No experience is needed, and there is nothing to perform or get right. Just show up exactly as you are.
We’ll begin by singing a few songs (mantras) together, warming up our voices and settling into the shared energy of the group. There’s something special that happens when voices come together—a feeling that is hard to explain but easy to experience.
From there, we’ll move into some simple, guided movement to help loosen up the body and get comfortable. Then the music takes over. Move however you want, sing along, dance, sway, or simply enjoy being part of it.
Singing and dancing can bring us back into our bodies, out of our heads, and into a sense of freedom, joy, and connection. And there’s something about doing it together that amplifies the whole experience.
Come share your voice, move your body, and fill your cup with connection and JOY!

Healing Breathwork for Self-Love & Worthiness
October invites us to slow down and listen more deeply to what truly matters. This guided healing breathwork session offers an opportunity to explore our relationship with self-worth, love, creativity, and receiving. Through a two-part active breathing meditation, you will be invited to gently release the beliefs and patterns that tell you that you must do more, give more, achieve more, or become more in order to be worthy of love and belonging.
The breath offers another possibility: simply being here.
As you breathe, allow yourself to soften around the places where you have been hard on yourself. Release the pressure to perform, please, or prove. Create space to reconnect with the part of you that knows your inherent worth has never been something you needed to earn. This practice is an invitation to receive yourself exactly as you are—with tenderness, compassion, and unconditional presence.
You will leave feeling softer, more connected to your heart, and more at home within yourself.
All levels are welcome. Permission to arrive exactly as you are.
Optional to bring a blanket and eye pillow to create a warm, nurturing space.

A Deeper Dive Into Tarot
Now that you know a little bit about the cards, let’s put them to work.
This workshop goes beyond the basics into practical, question-driven reading: love, money, career, health, and the messy in-between.
Julia will walk you through how to ask better questions, spot patterns, and read for specifics without getting lost in the weeds. Bring your own Tarot deck (or borrow one) and leave with a clearer sense of how tarot can become a useful conversation partner, not just a pretty stack of pictures.
Julia Gordon-Bramer has been reading tarot for almost 50 years and has clients around the world. She’s the author of Tarot Life Lessons (2023, Destiny Books) and The Occult Sylvia Plath (2024, Destiny Books) and you may have seen or heard her on MTV, Nickelodeon, Gaia’s Beyond Belief, Coast to Coast, Next Level Soul, and others.

Rest as Reciprocity (Mentorship Module)
Teaching Restorative yoga and other rest-centered practices allows us to develop deep, meaningful relationships, opens our hearts and minds to more clarity, and even influences our words and deeds through the lens of support and ease. Despite these benefits, commitment to this life-changing practice often lacks collaboration and counsel with other instructors, a vital component of nourishing our capacity and sustaining our teaching over time. This program helps participants foster confidence and finesse in their teaching by: refining space-holding capability through teaching observation, developing creativity through personalized assignments and self-study, and reflecting in 1-on-1 meetings with Alicia Delaney. Pre-requisite attendance in all other module trainings is not required, but is strongly encouraged; those who participate in only this module will create an independent study schedule directly with Alicia. In addition to direct mentorship contact and homework assignments, all participants will be required to attend a practicum and discussion on Saturday, December 12th from 1:00 - 4:00 PM in the Main Studio at Joy of Yoga in order to receive a full 10 hours of continuing education credit.

Winter’s Wisdom: Acupuncture + Sound to Awaken Your Soul's Essence
Step into a winter-season healing journey with Joy Page and Dr. Maegan Lemp for an immersive blend of Acupuncture & Sound Healing designed to nourish the Water–Fire axis and help you reconnect with your truest essence.
As we move through the colder months, our bodies naturally turn inward. In Chinese medicine, this is the season of the Water element, the deep reservoir that holds your ancestral wisdom, your quiet strength, and the most unfiltered version of who you are. When Water is balanced and supported, its truths rise upward to meet the Heart—your inner flame—allowing you to embody your authentic Self in the world with clarity, confidence, and ease.
As the needles are gently placed, Joy will weave a meditative sound journey using crystal and Tibetan bowls, drums, and chimes. These frequencies move like currents of Water and waves of Fire—soothing the nervous system, softening internal resistance, and awakening the subtle intelligence that lives beneath the surface of your awareness.
Dr. Maegan will guide you through an acupuncture treatment that works with the extraordinary meridians pathways that tap into your foundational energy and help realign your mind, body, and spirit. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing for access to the lower legs, forearms, and sternum.
Together, acupuncture and sound become a bridge between the depths and the heart:
Join us as we merge the experience of sound and acupuncture to nourish the Water–Fire axis — inviting clarity, wisdom, and purpose into your Heart.

Healing Breathwork for a Fresh Start
As summer comes to a close and the rhythms of daily life begin to shift, this guided healing breathwork session offers an opportunity to clear what you no longer need and create space for what is ready to emerge. We will take a moment to turn our attention toward the places within us that are asking for care, organization, and renewal. Through a two-part active breathing meditation, you will be invited to release physical tension, emotional residue, mental clutter, and the energetic weight of everything you have been carrying.
Rather than striving for perfection, this practice is an invitation to tend gently to yourself. With each breath, imagine clearing a little more space—within the body, within the mind, and within the heart. As you settle into greater clarity and presence, you may discover that the next chapter doesn't require you to become someone new; it simply asks you to make room for more of who you already are.
You will leave feeling lighter, clearer, grounded, and ready to enter the changing season with intention.
All levels are welcome. Permission to arrive exactly as you are.
Optional to bring your own blanket and eye pillow for a more restorative experience.

Reiki & Art: A Creative Practice
Join us for a Reiki + Art experience that is completely accessible, beginner-friendly, and 100% guided every step of the way.
Creativity is a natural expression of the life force that flows through each of us. When we intentionally find stillness, this current can reveal itself in unique and unexpected ways.
Inspired by Mandie's own Reiki practice, this artistic workshop grew from a simple practice of painting the Reiki symbols onto watercolor cards—a process that became a beautiful way to slow down, connect with Spirit, and express the energy and meaning of each symbol in her own way.
Join us as we weave together Reiki, meditation, and intuitive art-making. Together in community, we’ll create space to slow down, connect inward, and explore our own unique expression. No artistic experience is needed, as there is no right or wrong way to create. Every brushstroke, mark, and color becomes part of a conversation with Spirit.
Come as you are and experience the simple joy of creating from the heart. You’ll leave not only with your own set of handmade cards, but with a deeper sense of connection as well.

Gentle Yin
Sometimes called the quiet yoga, yin yoga is a slow, floor-based practice that invites you to settle into longer-held poses with very little movement. Rather than flowing from posture to posture, you’ll gently ease into shapes that nourish the body’s connective tissues—especially the fascia—while creating space to notice sensation, breath, and subtle shifts within. From the outside it may resemble restorative yoga, but in yin we are exploring a gentle, sustainable stretch and staying there with curiosity.
Instead of focusing on how a pose looks, yin yoga is about how it feels. The intention is not to achieve a perfect shape, but to find a meaningful sensation in the body without pain. You’ll be guided to work at about 50–60% of your capacity—enough to feel something without pushing or forcing. This moderate approach allows the body to soften gradually over time, and often deeper sensation naturally emerges as the body relaxes.
In this class you’ll be introduced to the foundations of a yin practice in a way that is supportive and approachable. You’ll learn how to gauge intensity, how to use props to support your body, and how to stay present and attentive during longer holds. Along the way, you may discover that slowing down and doing less can actually help you feel more.
Over time, this quiet practice can support mobility, calm the nervous system, and gently unwind layers of accumulated tension. No previous yoga experience is needed—just a little curiosity and a willingness to slow down and listen to your body.

Summer Solstice Sound Journey & Restorative Bliss
This radiant threshold invites us to connect with vibrational frequencies that align the body, heart, and spirit with abundance, vitality, and compassionate transformation. As the healing energy of the solstice is amplified by the resonant vibrations of Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, we create the conditions for deep restoration, spaciousness, and bliss.
As above, so below. As without, so within.
The microcosm mirrors the macrocosm, and all growth unfolds through cycles. The Summer Solstice reminds us that the light outside of us also lives within us — illuminating the places where we are ready to break free, break through, and evolve.
And because transition can feel tender, we call upon the compassionate energy of the Divine Mother to guide us with nurturing, grace, and protection as we move through this evolutionary turning.
The Summer Solstice also initiates the Sun’s transition into Cancer, bringing forward watery, nourishing, creative energy. Cancer invites emotional connection, clearing, safety, intimacy, and care. This is the sign of The Mother — the one who feeds, holds, protects, and gives life.
Her warm embrace is waiting for you.
