Teaching Restorative yoga and other rest-centered practices allows us to develop deep, meaningful relationships, opens our hearts and minds to more clarity, and even influences our words and deeds through the lens of support and ease. Despite these benefits, commitment to this life-changing practice often lacks collaboration and counsel with other instructors, a vital component of nourishing our capacity and sustaining our teaching over time. This program helps participants foster confidence and finesse in their teaching by: refining space-holding capability through teaching observation, developing creativity through personalized assignments and self-study, and reflecting in 1-on-1 meetings with Alicia Delaney. Pre-requisite attendance in all other module trainings is not required, but is strongly encouraged; those who participate in only this module will create an independent study schedule directly with Alicia. In addition to direct mentorship contact and homework assignments, all participants will be required to attend a practicum and discussion on Saturday, December 12th from 1:00 - 4:00 PM in the Main Studio at Joy of Yoga in order to receive a full 10 hours of continuing education credit.
