Joy Page

Joy started practicing Hatha Yoga in Portland, OR in 1994 while in college. She immediately realized the significance her yoga practice brought to her mind and body, her heart and her life. It wasn't until she became a teacher that she realized THIS was her calling, her dharma, to share the profound benefits of the practice with others. Joy's classes weave intention with pranayama, precision in alignment with quiet mindfulness and subtle body awareness with refinement. Her classes invite us to attune ourselves to the needs of our bodies and adapt our postures to create more ease, and to experience the magnificence of simply being.

 
 

While moving through a gentle and restorative yoga practice, we will connect to the cycles and rhythms of our natural world and learn about the energy of the stages of the moon. Syncing up with our universal rhythms and using astrology to thrive in everyday life is one powerful way to use mother nature to help us feel balanced, whole and purposeful. When we understand the subtle, yet powerful influences of our natural world, we can harness and capture that energy to manifest what we want to bring into our lives or release and free ourselves of whatever is holding us back.
