As we move into Fall, we can use the Chinese Meridians and Yin Yang Yoga to help us connect to our emotional life under our tissues through an interwoven experience between stiness (yin) and movement (yang).
We target the spleen and lungs through yin yoga shapes like supported bridge, saddle and half frog and yang shapes like twisted lunges, plank and side lunges. We will explore ways we can move from experiences of scarcity to contentment and from sadness to courage. We do this by holding tender space for our human experiences with curiosity and self-compassion with the support of heart and spleen meridians.
