Spring is the season of birth, renewal and growth! As the light outside emerges our physiology also craves a freshening up after the heaviness of the winter season.
In Ayurveda, the living science of yoga, each season has certain qualities or characteristics associated with it. Kapha season (late winter-spring) is associated with dampness, heaviness, cool temperatures and dullness. These qualities manifest themselves as accumulated toxins, clogged energy channels, and lower immunity. This is why spring can trigger seasonal imbalances such as allergies, colds, fatigue and digestive sensitivities.
Using Ayurveda’s basic principle of opposites balance—this workshop will focus on 2 daily habits that cultivate lightness, warmth, invigoration and dryness. We will keep the habits simple and help you create an action plan to integrate your new habits!
Come prepared to listen, take notes, and manifest! We will also practice a short yoga and breath sequence to support you this spring season. Ayurveda believes that maintaining consistent daily routines is the springboard for optimal energy, health, and self healing. This workshop will guide you forward on your healing path.
