On January 17, we invite you to attend "Yoga to Support Psychotherapy at Joy of Yoga," from 1:15-2:00pm with Julie Johnson, Alicia Delaney, Jessie Kissinger, and Julie Eagan.
This 45 minute info session will be about the basics of trauma-sensitive yoga. The discussion will include evidence-based research, an intro to classes and teachers that apply these approaches, and a short chair yoga session using invitational language.
Yoga is a practice that can be used to support Psychotherapy and Other Wellness Practices for clients that could benefit from a mind-body approach to healing. This information is for Yoga Teachers & Students, Therapists, Counselors, Life Coaches and Human Service Providers.
You'll also meet the teachers providing this style of practice at Joy of Yoga and experience a short chair yoga sequence using invitational language.
