Awaken and renew as you experience a deep stretch and release on physical, emotional and energetic levels through the practice of yin yoga asana, pranayama and meditation. Yin yoga is a challenging yet calming and restorative practice that deeply affects the layers of the body such as the fascia, ligaments, tendons, joints, bones and energy centers through passively held postures. Time and the breath help to soften and guide the body deeper into the stretch. Postures are held from 3 to 5 minutes. This is an open level workshop and props will be utilized to support the body during the practice.
