This is a virtual class Central Standard Time
These classes are appropriate for anyone that wants to explore yoga with a focus on what it’s like to inhabit a human body. Flows in this class will be slow and purposeful with the option of choosing a pace that serves your own bodies needs. We’ll explore ways we can cultivate a sense of empowerment, shame-resilience and radical self-acceptance as we move through a hatha sequence that attunes us closer to the unique language of our own nervous system within the framework of the “Window of Tolerance.”
The Window of Tolerance is a popular term by Dr. Dan Siegel to describe normal brain and body responses after a person experiences high amounts of stress and adversity.
Each week our series will start with a 15 minute lecture on the Window of Tolerance with a 60 minute flow based on a theme that will helps us attune to our bodies and our highest selves
