Spring Forward Yoga Nidra

Every year, we are forced to lose an hour of sleep to the end of Daylight Savings Time. This “time warp” helps bring us more quickly into the light of spring, but losing just one hour of precious sleep can have dire consequences to our health and well-being. Our yoga practice is often an antidote to the stressors of daily life, and the end of Daylight Savings is no exception!

Yoga Nidra is often translated as “yogic sleep.” In this full-body guided meditation, participants will be brought into a state of consciousness that induces restorative theta and delta brain waves (the same produced in deep, calming sleep). This amazing benefit means we can experience about FOUR hours of conventional sleep in just ONE hour of Yoga Nidra.

This pop-up class is an opportunity to deeply and comfortably rest, offering a sweet reset to the nervous system and physical body. Participants will leave feeling as though they’ve regained that lost hour of sleep and so much more!
