If you have chronic pain, deep tension, stress or limited mobility – yoga massage balls are your greatest tool. They not only release your muscles, but focus on the whole fascial layer. It is this layer of soft connective tissue that holds much of our pain, tension and restriction of movement.
This workshop gives you the time and space to explore the root of your pain and stiffness. You will be guided through deeper breathing, longer held stretches and massage therapy ball techniques. Massage Therapy Balls access hard to reach tightness, ease tension and pain, stimulate circulation, soften scar tissue, release trigger points, work into soft connective tissue, improve breath capacity and enhance movement, performance and recovery. Most importantly it stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, the rest-digest mode of your body where deep healing takes place.
Releasing stress and tension from your body allows your whole self to restore, rebalance and renew itself.
Props Needed: Yoga Tune Up Balls* (or 2 tennis balls with a sock to tote them in), 2 Yoga Blocks, 1 Yoga Strap/Belt/Scarf, 1 Yoga Blanket/Beach Towel, (optional) 1 Yoga Bolster or pillow.
