Join us for "Luna's Whispers," a magical evening under the February Moon, where the spirit of giving and the beauty of nature converge in a tranquil woodland. This unique celebration, inspired by Eve Bunting's heartwarming tale "Night Tree," is an invitation to embrace community, sisterhood, and our deep connection with the natural world.
As dusk falls, we'll make our way to a majestic tree in the forest, guided by the natural luminance of the moon and stars. This tree, a silent guardian of the woods, awaits our tender care and heartfelt decorations.
Our purpose is multifaceted: We come together to adorn the tree with eco-friendly, edible ornaments – strings of popcorn, clusters of berries, and slices of apple – as a gift to the forest animals. This act of kindness feeds our furry and feathered friends during the winter months, reminding us of our responsibility to care for all living beings.
Moreover, this gathering is a celebration of community and sisterhood. As we decorate the tree, we share stories and songs, weaving a tapestry of experiences and hopes. This is a time to strengthen our bonds, offering support and understanding, and acknowledging our shared journey.
In the soft, silvery glow of the moon, we step back to appreciate our collaborative creation, symbolizing our unity with nature and each other. The evening is further warmed by cups of rich, heartening Cacao, a drink that embodies comfort and joy. As we sip this delightful treat we're reminded of the warmth of human connection and the simple joys that bind us.
"Luna's Whispers" is more than an event; it's a manifestation of our collective spirit, a moment where we come together to honor the animals, foster community, celebrate sisterhood, and deepen our connection with the earth, all under the gentle gaze of the February Full Moon.
