Mindful Meditation for Grief and Loss

A 12 week companion-led workshop on how to integrate loss into your life. You can drop in to one class or attend the whole series.

Have you recently experienced loss or death? You are not alone. You are invited to feel safe and supported in a trusting, non judgmental group of like-minded people. This class is open to anyone who is grieving. Each week we discuss an aspect of the grief process, share our experiences, and work through it together with the group intention to heal in grief. Each class ends with contemplative thoughts you can take home as either journaling or meditation prompts to better apply the material in your own life.

About the Facilitator:

Kylie graduated as a Registered Nurse with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Missouri State University in 2017. Along the way, she received a double minor in Gerontology and Psychology where she studied courses such as "Death and Human Behavior", "Aging in Society", "Grief and Loss", "Advance Directives and Wills", etc. She has since worked bedside nursing as an acute care RN and as a Hospice Nurse where she dealt with grief and dying as a daily part of life. She has studied the topic greatly and is adept at supporting and holding space for those in grief. She is now a Holistic RN and Mindfulness Coach. She is here to facilitate this group on how to understand your grief and move forward with a new found perspective of life after loss.
