In Ayurveda it is believed that maintaining consistent daily routines, called dinacharya, is the springboard to optimal health.
This ancient, time tested wisdom came from observing the cyclical rhythms found in the universe. Just as the moon orbits around the earth every 28 days and the earth revolves around the sun every 24 hours, our bodies also have similar cyclical rhythms that, if supported and respected, can have a profound effect on our overall health and well being.
In this class we will learn the order of techniques in nighttime ritual provided by Ayurveda. We will drink golden milk, learn what is ideal to eat for dinner and at what time, how to tongue scrape, oil massage, oil pull and more!
This class will be informational and experiential. Together we will go step-by-step through a typical nighttime routine (dinacharya).
You will learn which practices are best for you and your dosha and leave with recipes (golden milk and soup), products (everyone will receive self massage oil and a copper tongue scraper to take home) and worksheets to re-create your routine at home.
Come ready for bed (showered and in jammies if you like!) and leave ready to experience one of the best night's sleep you've ever had!
